Thanks Eat Right Atlanta, our partner in providing fresh fruits and vegetables, kindly offered to purchase Christmas gifts for the children of our clients. It truly doesn’t get any better than that!

Creativity and the implementation of new strategies are crucial for nonprofits. While a conventional delivery approach might involve packing bags.  Land of Promise (LOP) is dedicated to the “client-choice” mobile food pantry model. 

Just like a small produce store, our clients have the freedom to choose food based on their needs, preferences and dietary restrictions, instead of receiving pre-packaged bags that may not suit their needs. This “client-choice” approach not only minimizes food waste but also actively engages our clients, allowing their children to shop and ask insightful questions. Therefore, we drove our mobile produce store directly to our clients' front door, enabling them to select items for their Christmas meal.

At LOP, our mission goes beyond supplying food; it reflects our commitment to building connections with our clients. This includes sharing valuable insights, offering words of encouragement, and genuinely listening to their needs. While providing food is a key aspect, this truly embodies the authentic spirit of LOP culture.
