

Flexibility for School Meal Programs
On May 1, 2017, US Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced that the USDA will provide greater flexibility nutrition requirement for school meals to make them both healthy and appealing to students. The proclamation will restore local control of guidelines on whole grains, sodium and milk.
