In 2017, I envisioned a mobile food pantry dedicated to feeding those in need of food. My spirit felt a strong urgency to get started, yet I faced numerous obstacles that hindered this dream from becoming a reality. Nevertheless, I remained committed, developed a strategy, and held onto an unwavering belief that it would eventually come to fruition according to God's plan and timing.

After enduring the challenges of the pandemic, this vision became a reality on March 15, 2025. Thanks to the pantry's mobility, LOP initiated a pilot for the Community Food Distribution Program, targeting areas with the highest concentration of clients. On the morning of March 15, 2025, the distribution took place in Fairburn, GA, with another session that afternoon in the City of South Fulton.

The Community Food Distribution Program is designed to provide nutritious food to those facing food insecurity, particularly those in greatest need. We do not select participants; instead, LOP collaborates with social workers , nonprofits and the Georgia Department of Family Services (DFACS), who are aware of individuals requiring assistance. We recognize there are many more people in need of additional food resources. Given the large capacity of our pantry, our goal is to broaden by contracting with municipalities, communities, churches and schools aiming to enhance the nutritional well-being of their residents.

The board has supported this vision for seven years, which is more incredible act of support than I could have ever hoped for. They also worked alongside me throughout the distribution efforts. I am immensely grateful for the most caring and compassionate board imaginable. Special thanks to the volunteers.

As I write this blog, the weight of this achievement has yet to fully sink in. My first actions were to praise God and express gratitude to the board.

There is no greater joy than fulfilling one's purpose. Thank you, God, for trusting me with Your plan.
