On April 19, 2025, Land of Promise had the privilege of welcoming Janet Adams, the Executive Director of Atlanta Fulton Family Connection (AFFC), to our Community Food Distribution. The mission of AFFC is to foster collaboration aimed at enhancing the well-being of children and families in Fulton County. Since 2014, LOP has greatly benefited from this partnership.

Site visits from funders are rare, but they are invaluable. Ms. Adams visited to observe our Community Food Distribution in action, assessed how they could become more actively involved, and met our dedicated staff, volunteers, and clients. Additionally, she generously donated on behalf of AFFC to Land of Promise.​

​Receiving such a significant donation while hearing client testimonials during our food distribution was an extraordinary experience. This day reaffirmed my passion for my job and confirmed that LOP is on the right track.
