It takes village to eradicate food insecurity.  The schools that participate in our food backpack program are dedicated to host annual food drives to benefit the students in need of supplemental food on weekends.  They understand that a child cannot learn if they do not have enough food to eat.  We are grateful to have the support of Fulton County School.  Below are the schools that hosted food drive during the spring semester of 2017.

Ms. Brewster, Professional Assistant, hosted the food drive at

Seaborn Lee Elementary School

Students at College Park Elementary School with food drive donations

Ms. Pierre, Social Worker, organized a food drive at Banneker High School

Land of Promise receives several thousand pounds of nourishing food throughout the year from food drives. Hosting a food drive is a fun and engaging way to fill our pantry with healthy food donations! Food drives also serve as a way to educate our neighbors about the need in our community. Thank you for helping Land of Promise distribute more meals to the children in our Nourish the Need Program.

Interested in hosting a food drive please contract us at vmount@LOPprograms.com
