The land produces enough food for every person on earth to have enough food to eat, but tragically according to the USDA an estimated:

44 million Americans (1 in 7) did not have enough food to eat in 2022 – 10 million more compared to 2021
 
13 million children (1 in 5) experienced food insecurity in 2022 – 4 million more compared to 2021

Over 5 million senior citizens were food insecure in 2021

According to the United Nations, the number of undernourished people in the world increased to 828 million in 2022

Land of Promise is a 501(c)3 located in Atlanta, GA.  The mission of Land of Promise is to bring awareness, inspire hope and develop programs to address food inequities in Greater Atlanta.

 

We collaborate with a community’s most valuable assets its residents, churches, businesses, schools, government, non-profits organizations and corporations. The entire community becomes more informed and better when all work together.

We advocate for our clients by understanding their needs and caring for their welfare.

 

We believe in returning the promises of the fruitful land to all people, especially the ones that are in need.

In order to accomplish our goals, Land of Promise (LOP) has written documents called a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)/Agreement (MOA). These documents describe a cooperative relationship between two parties wishing to work together to meet an agreed upon goal.
